I talked to my family today, who live in San Antonio, and my mother said that in the wake of the Mavs' victory in Game 7, SA hasn't been this depressed since the USA beat Mexico in the '03 World Cup.

Chris Fahrenthold, Editor-in-Chief (and, um, everything else) of SoTheBearSays, is kind of a second-year law student and nationally-unranked tennis player. He looks forward to a life in legislation or teaching useless but impressive vocabulary words to children in the former Soviet Union. Like all law students who fancy themselves writers, he is currently at work on the Great American Novel.
